This legendary floating bar, Willy-T, is anchored in The Bight Bay of Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands. A party hotspot for years, this steel shunner is named after William Thornton, born on Jost Van Dyke, BVI in 1759 and the famed architect of the United States Capitol Building! Along with cool drinks and shotskis, revelers have been jumping off the top floor into the clear blue water for years (though there are signs posted not to). During high season, you may have to swim in or crawl across a line of rafted boats to get to the bar!

D-Boat
The 2014 addition to the Caribbean bar scene, D-Boat is a retired oil tanker anchored just off shore of Antigua. With a water park complete with slides and trampolines, D-Boat touts itself as an all-ages party boat. Enjoy a cocktail after you snorkel in the crystal waters surrounding Antigua and you’ll wonder why someone didn’t think of this long ago.

Saba Rock
Ok, so it’s not a floating bar per se, but Saba Rock Resort does take up its own island! Nestled perfectly between Prickly Pear Island and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Saba Rock is just that – a rock – but has become a very popular watering hole amongst yachting and celebrity crowds. The bar is excellent and opens at 11 a.m. daily, making it the perfect stop for lunch or a happy hour cocktail.

Floyd’s Pelican Bar
Want a truly Jamaican experience? Floyd’s Pelican Bar offers an unforgettable spot to enjoy a cool drink and create a memory to last a lifetime – if you can remember anything after the cocktails. Located on a sandbar nearly a mile out into the sea in Parottee Bay on Jamaica’s southern coast, Floyd’s is a bar made of driftwood and not much else. Angel’s Rest
The cheery yellow pontoon boat turned into a two-level watering hole, Angel’s Rest floats comfortably in St. John’s beautiful Coral Bay. Jump in the water (it’s hot, after all) and swim up to the fully-functioning bar and enjoy a delicious cocktail. Fear not, non-swimmers. Angel’s Rest has a dinghy to pick you up in case the water entry option is not for you!
