Aragorn Dick-Read is a BVI artist with a local heart and a global reach. Aragorn’s sculptures, prints and t-shirt designs have spread BVILOVE to the world. Thirtyfive years of creative energy has spread his art to households and public spaces as far away as China, Kazakhstan, the UK and the USA.
Aragorn’s passion for his work is palpable. Influenced by his studies as an art historian and his devotion to the Caribbean’s nature, culture and history, Aragorn’s art mixes humble storytelling with esoteric symbolism – encapsulated in objects and images of timeless beauty. His signature pieces range from breath-taking fire sculptures cut out of steel, to ornate, delicate copper wall pieces. He also works in ceramic, wood, paint and silk screen.
