House of Luxury is a family-owned jewellery and lifestyle boutique with industry knowledge built up over three generations.
Sanjay Surtani and his wife Veera lead a passionate team of jewellery experts at their store in Road Town. They offer a stunning selection of designer jewellery, watches and luxury accessories, but, as Veera says “there is something extra special about owning a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery that no-one else has”.
With a vast network of jewellery ateliers and certified gemologist qualifications from GIA (the Gemological Institute of America), House of Luxury makes the process seamless and enjoyable, crafting a piece that reflects your individual style and personality.

VS: The journey begins with an initial consultation. We take the time to understand your vision, preferences and design requirements, encouraging you to share any inspiration or ideas you may have, as it all helps us to create a piece that truly resonates with you.

Based on the information given, our skilled designer will translate the ideas into a 3D visual representation of your dream piece. We ensure that every detail is considered, from choice of gemstones, metal choice and colour and overall aesthetics.
Together with our guidance, your feedback is crucial in refining the design, ensuring that it aligns perfectly with your vision. Any necessary adjustments will be made until you are completely satisfied.
Then the magic happens and our skilled ateliers begin the meticulous process of crafting your custom piece. Every step is executed with precision and care, ensuring the final result reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship.
EPS: What if I don’t have a specific design in mind?
VS: As you delve into the world of custom jewellery design with our team, you’ll discover a treasure trove of possibilities! We will brainstorm with you and explain our expertise on different styles, materials and techniques that can be used to create your unique piece. As mentioned above, 3D computer sketches can also be made to help visualise and give you the confidence and reassurance that you’ve chosen correctly.
EPS: How long will the process take, roughly?
VS: Depending on the scale and how intricate the design is, the minimum time it takes to produce a piece is about 4-6 weeks. Quality is of the upmost importance and therefore it is always better to work well ahead of time, especially if there is a special date in mind for when the piece needs to be ready.
EPS: What kind of custom pieces do you specialise in?
VS: Over the years, we have created everything from gold name plate pendants, bracelets and earrings, to teeth grills, ‘push presents’ with specific birthstones, personalised anniversary gifts and probably our favourite, engagement rings!
