Dear Sailors, Members and Friends:

Congratulations to Mark Plaxton on Grey Ghost and Jim Hoelter on Nymph, Racing and Cruising Class winners respectively in last weekend’s Virgin Queen Pizza Pursuit Race! Also, many thanks to Dr Michael Kent for providing a fascinating lecture and presentation at RBVIYC on Friday evening.

This week we have our usual weekly activities of Taco Tuesday, Wednesday Quiz and Saturday Youth Sailing at Nanny Cay. This week’s Wednesday quiz master will be Guy Phoenix, so come along and enjoy!

The BVI Dinghy Championships

This year’s championships will take place over the weekend of 30th April/1st May. These promise to be as fun and competitive as ever, all ages are welcome! The Notice of Race is available on our website. Please contact [email protected] for more information!

Race to Bitter End Yacht Club

A new addition to this year’s calendar, to ensure we have at least one visit to Virgin Gorda! There will be a race to North Sound and fun and festivities at BEYC on the Saturday evening! The racing takes place 7/8 May, so book the date in your diary now! Participants enjoy reduced rates at BEYC and free moorings, use of the pool etc. There will also be a punch and pizza party on Saturday evening! The Notice of Race is available on our website.

The Lowell Wheatley Anegada Pursuit Race & Cruise

Please note that owing to the intensity of regatta schedules we have changed the date of this race to the weekend of May 21st / 22nd. Book the date in your diary now!

Race and Cruise To Jost Van Dyke

This will take place on the 4th June. Details to follow, but book the date in your dairy now!
