“Doveland has an open plan design with an abundance of shaded outdoor areas. It’s located on a large home site, preserving a lot of existing natural vegetation. The villa was cited on a ridge, and with its large doors and windows, maximises the BVI’s abundant wind as its natural air conditioner – passive cooling. Natural materials have been used where possible exemplified by local stone used to clad the building and also build stone planters. Rain water is harvested for domestic consumption. Drought tolerant, native plants have been used in the landscape along with an array of fruit trees creating the ideal sustainable property.” – Elliot Steer, Director of Sales at Oil Nut Bay
