The Inland Revenue Department is informing all property owners that Property Tax for the year 2009 is due and payable on the 1st day of September 2009.  However, tax payers are allowed until the 30th of November 2009 to make payments without penalty being charged.

Property Tax is payable at the Inland Revenue Department, Central Administration Complex, Wickhams Cay, Tortola.  Payments may also be made at the following locations:

Property located on Virgin Gorda may be paid for at the Vanterpool Administration Building, Valley, Virgin Gorda.

Property located on Anegada may be paid for at the Theodolph Faulkner Administration Building at the Settlement to Mrs. Lucia Francis, District Officer.

Property located on Jost Van Dyke may be paid for at the Customs Building to Mrs. Carmen Blyden, District Officer.

Property located in the West End/Mount Sage and East End/Long Look properties must now be made at the Inland Revenue Department, Central Administration Complex, Wickhams Cay, Tortola.

Any property owner whose Property Tax for prior years remain unpaid must arrange to pay without delay to avoid additional penalties. The Inland Revenue Department is encouraging property owners to make every effort to pay their Property Tax on time.
