The Ministry of Communications and Works is inviting the public to the first in a series of public meetings to discuss projects such as the traffic lights in Road Town and the draft water purchase agreement with BiWater which have sparked much discussion in the community. These public discussions only tell half of the story and therefore do not represent the position of the government.
The Ministry of Communications and Works through its Minister will provide accurate and credible information on these topics at the first public meeting to be held on Thursday, September 24 at the Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre at 7 pm. The second meeting will be held at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall and the third at the East End/Long Look Community Centre at dates and times to be announced.
Residents are invited to join the Minister as he embarks on this public education mission. For more information contact the Ministry of Communications and Works at 468-0629.
