BVI Sotheby’s International Realty appoints Virgin Gorda representative

Sharon Flax Brutus of Virgin Gorda has been appointed to represent BVI Sotheby’s International Realty (BVISIR) on Virgin Gorda.

Her career began in various positions in the travel and hospitality industries. This led to a love of serving people and showing them all that the British Virgin Islands have to offer. An extensive career in hospitality and tourism makes Flax Brutus a natural fit for BVISIR.

After various management positions with the iconic Rosewood Little Dix Bay resort, she led the BVI Tourist Board as director of tourism for seven years, ensuring the organisation effectively promoted the islands of the BVI to the world.

Maritha Keil, managing broker of BVISIR, was visiting a villa that Flax Brutus managed and thought she would be a good representative for the brand, so reached out personally about joining BVISIR.

Flax-Brutus says that she loves connecting clients with the home or vacation home of their dreams.

Or showing a piece of land and listening to the prospective owner discuss possibilities and dreams. It is a great pleasure helping people turn their vision into reality and ensuring the home is the best fit. I like being a knowledgeable resource for the client.

Flax-Brutus says what she loves best about Virgin Gorda is its special people. But when it comes to the island’s natural beauty, she finds it hard to choose just one spot.

She does particularly love the 30-minute scenic drive starting at the iconic Baths, and the beautiful vista heading toward the North Sound. This road loops through Nail Bay on the west mountain road, showcasing Mahoe Bay, before heading back to Spanish Town.

I enjoy showcasing the beauty of Virgin Gorda and helping people realise their dreams.

I know that people can look at homes anywhere in the world, but choose Virgin Gorda. It makes me happy to see people love our island like I do.
